Atenas´ overview:

Atenas is a small rural type town, with a population of approximately 15,000 people.  It is large enough to have three first class hotels, five supermarkets, many doctors and dentists´ offices, lots of pharmacies, but it remains a small-town where people hang out in the Central Park and walk peaceful all-around.  Restaurants vary from local cafes to a couple of high-end international ones.  In addition to the Public Schools, there are two private Elementary Schools and two Private High Schools, all costing a fraction of the amount paid for Private Schools in San Jose or in the United States of America.
